"Clair De Lune"

Have you ever heard a classical song named 'Clair De Lune'?
I'm not quite sure who composed the song, might be Beethoven and played again by Debussy...Somehow...
Lately, the song's used in 'Twilight'.
I've heard this song for ages since my brother (he plays a classical guitar) playing this song million times.

By the way, This trimester my friend, he's addicted to this song and just came up with an idea of making a short film (from this song) for his Advanced Film Production Final Project...yeah sound technical..and that's why it came out as the above picture...and made all entertainment media juniors lack of sleepinggggggg ==''

Still, This is such a brilliant short film I must say... :)

"Wanderer above the Sea of Fog"

This painting is named "Wanderer above the Sea of Fog" By a Romanticism artist in Renaissance Era; 'Caspar David Friedrich'.

It is an Oil color on canvas from 1818, and now is shown in Kunsthalle Hamburg Museum in Germany (and I want to go so much)

I first saw this painting in my painting2 class, I might have seen it long time ago, but pretty much not sure about it.
My first impression towards this painting was that I saw a tall man on the Everest mountain...lol..well You've to admit that I looked at the man's stick first and thought that it was those hiker sticks.

Some experts said this painting is truly Romantic style, I do agree because most Romantic artists painted and composed their works like this way, even this painting was almost similar to his other painting 'The Sea of Ice'.

The meaning of this painting, the 'Wanderer' might mean the unknown future, or the long lost in some of translation. The future might be unclear and unpredictable, I tell from the way Friedrich composed the wanderer from the back looking toward the cloudy and foggy far in front of him.

"Le lion ayant faim se jette sur l'antilope"

Last week, I just assigned my painting2's assignment #2. My inspiration was from 'Henri Rousseau', a French Post-Impressionist painter.

The second assignment that we've to do is
about creating textures and scan them in Photoshop for compositing. Each person has different place to work with.

 I got 'Amazon rain-forest'.

Le lion ayant faim se jette sur l'antilope' or 'The Hungry Lion Throws Itself on the Antelope' one of his masterpieces, his work is depicted in the jungle scene. The funny part was that he's never left France and seen the jungle either.

In my opinion, I've found it pretty interesting and stylish. (Maybe because my work is pretty much like his style, and even myself telling my friends how childish my work is. haha). So, the bottom picture is my assignment # 2 - Amazon-liked jungle

,and here's my final painting

"From Florence with Love~"

these are my 1st assignment for my painting2 class this trimester.. I got 'Florence, Italy'. That's why I came up with the Florence Bridge, and Brunelleschi's Dome. I used Pikma pen (the permanent one) and paint with water color.
